Great watch but really large, I mean really large, has a lot of great features, nice screen but if you don’t like a big watch, donot buy.

It’s more the interface that attracted me to this watch … the predictions are pretty accurate , yes the temperature is higher when the watch is worn … however that’s understandable just as if a thermometer was placed near a heat source … just minus a few degrees and you have the right degree… the compass is a nice function to have and is accurate.. as for the weather prediction icon don’t forget it’s predicting the temperature in advance so the next 6 – 8 hrs not the current .. and it’s always going to be a prediction.. so nothing is set in stone… Overall very pleased with this watch and it’s just a fun one as well….

for an abc watch this is the most accurate overall that i have used. i also have suuntos, casios, and highgear abc watches. this watch is very user friendly, much more so than the suuntos and highgear. only negative is that it is a “huge” watch. i really like it though in spite of size.

My husband and I bought the Timex Expedition WS4 Widescreen 4-Function Watch (Orange/Black)for my son’s 30th birthday. He has had it exactly one month and the edges of the strap all the way around the watch (includung the keeper loop) have become grungy black. My son is a teacher and takes very good care of his things. After such a short time, the watch looks old and worn. We decided to take a small section of the strap and try to clean it; nothing, not a single thing will clean the grunge off. This is very disappointing for something that is 4 weeks old and cost $194 US with the shipping charges.

Having viewed many many pages of watches on the Amazon web site I finally decided that this could be the watch I was looking for. Once ordered it arrived within a very short time. To my surprise and initial consternation it was much bigger than I had expected but once I got used to it it is quite comfortable and fairly easy to use. Functionality wise it has all the functions an outdoors adventurer could want (except for GPS functionality). It is easy to read anjd jumping between functions is simple. All in all a very nice watch.
